One of those adventures is super family friendly and brings back some fun childhood memories. As the Houston Chronicle announced, WELCOME TO THE DR. SEUSS EXPERIENCE! “The Dr. Seuss Experience is an imaginative and interactive immersion into the wondrous world of Dr. Seuss. This Seuss-tacular sensory spectacle takes each guest on an awe-inspiring journey through nine different Dr. Seuss books, allowing each visitor a chance to magically step into the pages of each of the books.”, says the Dr. Seuss Experience website.

The Dr. Seuss Experience, an immersive and interactive installation aimed at taking audiences into the world of author and illustrator Dr. Seuss, is coming to Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center starting May 15 and running through Aug. 15.

The attraction, which opened in Toronton in 2019, takes visitors on a journey through nine Dr. Seuss stories, including “The Cat in the Hat,” “The Lorax” and “Horton Hearts a Who!” The centerpiece is an inter-connected maze inspired by “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”

Presented by the promotion company Kilburn Live in conjunction with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, The Dr. Seuss Experience — which will be set up in Exhibit Hall A — is one of the first large-scale, out-of-town attractions to come to Houston since the pandemic. “It’s been a tough year, but we think that late spring/early summer will be a good time to head back out into the world, safely of course,” said Kilburn Live CEO Mark Manuel in a statement. “The Dr. Seuss Experience is needed now, more than ever, to reignite the magic of physical play and let children’s imaginations run wild.”

The event will be following state and city-mandated COVID-19 protocols.

Pre-sale tickets are available April 13 with general ticketing opening on April 17. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.experienceseuss.com.
