Houston’s Abacus Plumbing Jumps Up 166 Spots in Inc. 5000’s List of Top National Companies

Abacus Plumbing Company, a leading residential and commercial plumbing company in the Houston area, recently announced it has been recognized as one of the top 5,000 fastest growing companies in the country for the second year in a row. Abacus moved to number 2441 from number 2607. The Inc. 5000 List is published annually and requires that a company be in business for several years, be privately held, and generate a minimum level of revenue.

“The two main reasons for our success are our customers and our employees,” commented Alan O’Neill, president of Abacus Plumbing. “Our customers, by allowing us to serve them, help make our company a great place to work and a great place to have a real career, and our employees, who deliver world class service keep our customers loyal, and ensure our customers refer us to their friends and families.” Abacus Plumbing prides itself on having the most outstanding plumbers and support staff in the Houston metro area. The company is once again poised to grow about 20 percent this year.

O’Neill added, “Our continuous improvement up the ranks of the Inc. 5000 List shows us that we are doing things the right way since that list compares us to thousands and thousands of other companies throughout the United States.” This year, Abacus moved up to number 82 from 88 in its industry and employs 40 people in Houston, ranging from technicians to call takers to office staff.
