Lining is the most common choice under a parking lot. There is a simple reason for that. Joints are where most sewer lines fail, and a cured liner is one continuous piece with no joints inside it.
Pipe bursting is the better call when the old line is too far gone to line, but the path is still clear. It also lets us pull through a wider pipe if your building now handles more flow than it did when the line went in.
Sectional repair is the smallest job of the four. If your camera inspection shows one cracked spot under a drive aisle, you do not need to line the entire run. Sectional lining is a recognized rehabilitation method with its own industry standards.
Directional boring is a different job. It is not a repair at all. We use it when the line needs a new route, not a new inside.

We have a way in. An existing cleanout or manhole is ideal. If there is none, we open a small pit at each end of the run. On a lot, we place those where they cost you the fewest spaces.
The diameter and slope still work. A liner adds a thin layer inside the pipe. On most lines that barely changes flow, because the new surface is smoother than the old one. On an undersized line with poor slope, it matters more.
The camera goes in first. We never promise a no-dig repair before we see the pipe. Our tech runs a camera through the full run and locates the damage from the surface. That inspection is what turns a maybe into a yes or a no.
If your line clears those checks, trenchless is almost always the better option under pavement. You keep the lot. You keep the parking. You keep the business open.
Trenchless is not always the answer. We would rather tell you that up front than start a job that cannot finish.

The lot is coming up anyway. If you have resurfacing scheduled, the cost of digging while the pavement is already open drops sharply.
There is also a middle option that fits many jobs. We dig one small area to replace a collapsed section, then line the rest of the run from inside. You get open repair only where the pipe demands it, and the rest of the lot stays untouched.
Our camera inspection is what separates these cases. A pipe that looks the same from the cleanout can be a simple lining job or a partial dig. We do not know until we see it.
Blocked access is one more reason a job turns into a dig. Roots, hardened scale, or a foreign object can stop equipment from passing. We clean the line first and try again before we recommend excavation.
