General Function & Water Analysis:

Check water softener is working correctly
Test water for softness
Inspect the softener system and plumbing for any visible leaks
Run regeneration cycle to ensure brine integrates properly during regeneration process
Check for proper water flow from control valve to the brine tank
Check brine draw cycle operation to ensure that system is functioning as it should
Ensure backwash flow to drain is unobstructed. This removes larger, heavier debris.

Program Settings:

Check that clock and regeneration times are set correctly (typically set for 2am)
Adjust hardness settings to enhance efficiency. Significant savings in salt & water usage.
Program proper cycle times to ensure proper regeneration of the media.

Maintenance & Cleaning:

Remove salt "crusts", preventing salt from dissolving and regenerating the system
Test water from reverse osmosis system to ensure proper function
Add Salt to proper levels (up to 3 bags provided)
