A bad flapper could be to blame!
Does your toilet keep running long after someone flushes? If so, this could mean you have a bad flapper. A flapper is a rubber mechanism in your toilet tank that is the moving part of the flush valve, sealing water into the tank and allowing water to exit the tank when you flush. Flappers decay with use and over time.
A “running” toilet can waste over 200 gallons daily, resulting in higher water bills. Don’t let this happen. Contact Abacus Plumbing to assess the problem and determine if this a new flapper is required or if something else is causing the toilet to run.
“I was pleased with the services provided by the technician. He was very knowledgeable about the plumbing system throughout my entire house (which is an older house). He checked the performance of all water lines, the water heater, sewer lines, etc. He was very professional and neat in his appearance.” – Marilyn Jackson
