Spring Break will be starting soon. Which means, families are planning trips and new ways to entertain themselves during the break. The weather is just perfect this year to spend a good portion of the day outside. According to the Houston Chronicle, there are a whole bunch of new things to do, including a day at the zoo, where you can meet the new animals babies and a few dragons, too.

Houston Zoo kicks off spring break with new animatronic dragons exhibit

More than a dozen life-size, animatronic dragons have made their way into town and are staying in an enchanted forest at the Houston Zoo.

The Houston Zoo’s brand new dragons exhibit features mythical, animatronic creatures of air, land and sea that are hidden among a sprawling magical forest, according to a release. Visitors can come face to face with beasts such as the 35-foot-tall towering East Asian dragon, the Western dragon and the Manticore. All of the dragons move and roar, providing for a thrilling experience for families and kids of all ages.

The first-of-its-kind exhibit opens Saturday, March 7 and runs through Sept. 7.

For those looking for a bargain, the Houston Zoo offers an all-day “Value Pass” that includes general zoo admission, unlimited admission to the dragons exhibit, unlimited rides on the wildlife carousel and a souvenir conservation bracelet, according to the release. Value passes are $27.95 for adults and $24.95 for children. General admission is $22.95 for adults and $17.95 for children.
